This is an exciting new concept for the Pop Up where I worked in partnership with 8 larger brands to bring you limited edition dresses made from their surplus fabric. I wanted to have that conversation of circularity, one I have with the smaller brands all the time who use dead stock regularly. I also wanted to create a really beautiful collection of dresses that made the term ‘dead stock’ desirable.
With huge thanks to Albaray, ALIGNE, Boden, Brora, By Iris, Cefinn, Jigsaw and Rixo. Every brand took on the challenge with such good spirit and it has been such a pleasure to work with the design teams on each dress.
